So what’s in my diaper bag?
Do you overpack for like every occasion?
I am that commercial, you know the one that portrays the first time mom packing like three umbrellas and almost forgetting her child! Yep, that’s still me over here except I don’t forget my kids, my keys maybe or my sunglasses (I hate when I do that) but not my children, lol!
I have my hand up over here! I know, I know it’s crazy actually, but I have simplified a bit and I am a lot better after my third baby girl. I promise!
So, what’s in this awesome bag you might be wondering?
First of all, I love that there is a genius company out there that designed a beautiful insert that fits perfectly in my handbag, yep, my designer handbag! I love you Totesavvy for everything that you are! So this insert has a bunch of compartments and my favorite part is the diaper changing mat because it is nice and big, perfect for babies that like to squirm and roll like mine.
Now, I don’t use this as my diaper bag every day, but it is nice to carry your own handbag that also doubles as your diaper bag don’t you think? This is why I think they are so genius! I feel like they get me as a mom and as a woman.
So, what the heck is in my diaper bag? Let me get right to it!
- Plastic bag, because you never know when that unforeseen blowout will occur!
- Wipes of course!
- Diapers of course!
- I love these handy, dandy mesh bags from Kensie. {found them at TjMaxx for $9.99!} They came in a three pack and each one is a different size. Perfect for my lotion, sanitizer, lipstick and lip balm. These are great in beach bags and in your luggage too!
- Extra headbands, I mean girl mom over here!
- I have said it before and I will say it again, Butt paste, along with the three umbrellas you betcha I always have a tube of this with me! Butt paste is the only thing that has worked on all three of my little ladies and I always have it on hand!
- In this case, spare outfit for day (spare pajamas for nighttime)
- Teethers, you can never have too many! This one is a favorite from Moments of chaos.
- Burp cloth also from Moments of chaos.
- Pacifier along with pacifier clip (huge necessity to prevent beloved paci from falling on the ground!)
- Not a huge fan of Lenny Lemons because they knock off hard working small shops, but these were a good buy for now.
- Another teether also doubles as baby’s first toothbrush! Another genius product!
- Nursing cover that also doubles as a car seat cover and a grocery cart cover! I mainly use for nursing though because I am a germaphobe!
There is still plenty of room for my wallet, phone, a blanket or swaddle and a Contigo water bottle in here too!
