Our romantic trip to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico

Cabo is now one of my favorite places to vacation! So beautiful and so relaxing like one with nature kinda beauty and relaxation!

One of our family goals this year was to finally get our passports and it was so exciting to get our first stamps in beautiful Cabo San Lucas, Mexico!

This was a romantic trip, and a post-40th birthday celebration for me too. We love family trips and definitely plan on taking our girls someday but not this time and it was glorious! Four days and three nights glorious!

Travel time from Phoenix to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico is only about an hour and a half flight and maybe another forty minutes getting through Mexico Customs. Then from the airport in San Jose Del Cabo to the Resort, just about a thirty-minute drive to The One and Only Palmilla!

You are swept away from the airport in the nicest SUV ride! Fully stocked with hand wipes, bottled water, and my favorite, oxygen facial spray! Everything you need to refresh and step foot onto the gorgeous property of The One and Only Palmilla!

my favorite thing to do, watch the sunrise ??

From the moment you arrive to the moment you depart you feel like royalty. The hotel staff is beyond kind; they are so warm in nature and will accommodate your every need during your stay. I mean we even had a butler! Kevin and I are not used to this kind of hospitality but it sure was lovely.

a lovely surprise and Mexican chocolates!
a patio suite fit for a King & Queen

Our first time abroad and the first time in Cabo!

and the most charming little church on the property
and it really packs in on Sunday morning. It was standing room only for us ?
I see a couple of hugging rocks, do you?
we named him Teeny ☺️

Since this was our first time abroad and in Cabo, we chose to just relax and enjoy everything the Resort has to offer. Maybe next time we will venture into town. We are both foodies so we really enjoyed the different restaurants on property. Sushi one-night ceviche by the pool the next, Paella and of course the best Mexican tequila Cabo has to offer!

There are so many different types of tequila, Blanco, Reposado, and Anejo. One of our bartenders, Sergio, really gave us some good education and made some of the best cocktails too!

Our stay was basically a long weekend before Valentine’s Day and I think we planned it just right. Definitely not too busy and we caught the tail end of the grey whale season! If you are into whale watching the season is usually from December to about April. I think we spotted a few off of our room balcony!

Hopefully, this helps you a bit if you are planning a trip to Cabo. Most likely my pictures tell a better story!
