Our little Luci turned 5 last week, OMG where does all the time go? She had so much fun at her birthday party and it was so sweet to meet some of the friends she has recently made at school. She is growing up so fast our little Luci Lu and oh we get such a kick out of her!
This was her second birthday party ever and I think she loved every minute of it! Luci loves the color purple, doggies, her big sis and music. When I asked her about what kind of cake she wanted she said, “I want a purple cake mom with chocolate!” I said ok then. If you caught one of my Insta stories you might have noticed we were also painting our house the same week as her party. Well we almost had purple walls for her birthday too!
Ha ha thank goodness I didn’t have to play that one off because NO our walls were not suppose to be purple! Total long story, but I was going to be that mom to totally make lemonade out of lemons and tell our guests that yes our walls are purple, it’s Luci’s favorite color!!
Luci and her friends had so much fun playing pin the tail on the donkey (I stole my friends pic of this one because most of the kids could see through their blindfold lol!) and racing bugs on the floor. They had a blast hitting the piñata too. We all enjoyed a sweet, simple party with friends and family. A little note to my mom self though is to not juggle being both hostess and photographer at the same time! Somehow I thought I could do both, but towards the end I was passing my camera around!
