Personal disclaimer: Normally I would not talk about my hair problems but thanks to Maple Holistics now I can! I received this product in exchange for my honest review.
Since becoming a mom so many changes have taken place says every mom ever right?
One of the biggest changes was to my hair. My hair has gone through all kinds of crazy after having three babies. Like, we’re talking everything from postpartum hair loss to dry flaky scalp.
So, let’s talk products for a minute. For years, at least five, I could only use Head and Shoulders because it’s the only thing that works for my scalp. Every once in awhile I will try a new shampoo ranging from inexpensive to expensive to only come back to Head and Shoulders! Can you imagine my frustration and disappointment?
Maybe you find yourself in a similar spot?
Well, I can tell you there’s a shampoo that will let you finally ditch the Head and Shoulders! When Maple Holistics first approached me I thought to myself they must know about my hair and scalp issues and now I am so relieved.
To be honest, I was skeptical at first because of my track record with other shampoos and products, but this actually works!
I have used their Tea tree oil anti-dandruff shampoo for more than two weeks now and I love it! I’m a big fan of essential oils so to have them in my shampoo is a good feeling. So what’s in it?
The formula:
- tea tree
Tea tree, a robust shrub grown in Australia, is extracted through steam distillation for pure, undiluted results. It works to clear dead skin cells from their hair follicles and combats dandruff (as well as a natural solution for dead lice due to those properties).
- rosemary
Also extracted through steam distillation, rosemary works to stimulate the cell renewal of the hair follicles as the tea tree simultaneously clears out the dead ones. By regulating oil secretions and increasing circulation, rosemary will aid in leaving your hair smooth and refreshed.
- lavender
A primary staple in the therapeutic formula, lavender works to clear away any blemishes on the scalp and ease the pain of burns and prevents infections (due to its antiseptic and analgesic properties). Rapid healing is promoted as well as the aid to reduce scarring (with its cytophylactic properties).
If you are looking to make the switch like I did Maple Holistics is a great homeopathic solution and it feels and smells good too. Be sure to check out their free samples and their Amazon deals too!
5-minute curls!
Lastly, I thought I would share my favorite five-minute technique to curl my hair. The first thing I do after blow drying my hair is pull it up into a high pony. Then, I take small sections to curl with my tapered curling wand. This is seriously the easiest way to curl my hair and it only takes me about five minutes and usually lasts up to three days!
