Aloha, so we are back home safe and sound and once again the girls did so great on the plane. Woot, woot proud parent moment right here! Our Hawaiian family vacation was really good to us and we made so many amazing memories together.
If you caught my previous post I mentioned we like to rent because it gives you a little more flexibility and it also saves money too. Our rental was in an excellent location right across the street from Sunset Beach on the North side of Oahu. We so enjoyed waking up to the view every morning and catching the heavenly sunsets each night.
The girl’s favorite thing to do was to go exploring with us! We were both kind of amazed that this was their favorite part because it is our favorite thing to do also. The North side of Oahu has so much to offer and it is so great for exploring and sightseeing. We took them to Laie to see the awesome sights, Chinaman’s hat, several beaches along the way, Waimea Falls and of course to Turtle bay resort.
My favorite thing on this trip was to watch the pure joy through my children’s eyes. They were both so brave in the ocean and by the end of our stay were like a couple of pros on their boogie boards! Another all time favorite is enjoying all the local food. Our favorite is the food trucks because they are everywhere and make for more family adventuring! If you get to visit check out the island’s famous Giovanni’s shrimp truck, Crispy grindz for Brazilian treats and then of course over to get Hawaiian shaved ice for dessert!
