I love easy DIY things and I actually made up these easy DIY Easter baskets for my girls last year! Since Easter is next Sunday I thought I would share with you this super easy + affordable DIY. All you need are some cute baskets I actually found these cuties at the Dollar Tree! When I saw them I knew I could jazz them up a bit and make them look more custom. I love Hobby Lobby it’s like the best go to for simple DIY’s like these.

So all I did was get out my trusty glue gun + glued my girls first initial onto these cloth baskets, voila! Easy peasy lemon squeezy right? I found these painted wooden letters at Hobby Lobby for no more than $2 and probably was even less with their 40% OFF coupon.
- So baskets $1 ea
- painted wooden letters roughly $1.99 for a pack of 2 letters (bought 2 C’s & 2 L’s)
- So a whopping $5 and change to make these Easter baskets and they have lasted 2 yrs now!
I also love Target’s One spot for finding cute things like these bunny jelly jars! These were $3 and I couldn’t pass them up. I filled them with edible grass + Cadbury mini chocolate eggs. I also found these cute felt carrots and I plan on filling them with jelly beans they were a $1 for a 3 pack. I should also mention my hubby and I are kinda chocolate snobs and we have turned our kids into chocolate snobs as well so every year they each get a Lindt bunny.

Here they are mostly gussied up for a photo shoot. I will add more candy the night before.

Besides all the fun goodies that go into these cute baskets we also love playing with our Resurrection eggs…I got this idea from Pinterest so this is not my own creation, but has quickly become a tradition in the Flower casa! Here are our’s..The egg’s spell E-A-S-T-E-R and if you click on my link above Motherhood on a dime explains it beautifully. I love Easter and bunnies + eggs, but what I love most is teaching and talking about our Lord and Savior and what actually happened on this glorious day.
